Heusden-Zolder, Belgium - The KBC Night of Athletics has a tradition of presenting strong distance events on its meeting program and that is certainly the case again this year. But it’s the men’s 800m that promises to be the most attractive of all on Saturday evening (28). New American Mile record holder Alan Webb faces a strong field including European champion Bram Som over two laps of the track. The local crowd turns out to support their European champions Kim Gevaert in the 100m and the 200m and Tia Hellebaut in the High Jump.
